How you feel? You good?Man after the Mark III guy leaves (hopefully sold) I'll have them all sold except 1 Spider Valve. One guy bought 3 amps. Just left.

The Spider Valve should not be the amp left standing in that pile, Bob
500 is the max I'd pay for it.That really sucks to hear that because I had planned to utilize the MIDI on my Helix to control it. For what the seller wants I am not sure I'd wanna chance it. if it were a retail shop with an extended warranty option then maybe or if he was only asking 500 I'd take the flier but he want's double that.

What about a Victory? The Sheriff series is fantastic if you want a Marshall sound, and the Kraken is great for modern rock and metal.I know but I am pretty much done with combos. I'm not sure what I will replace it with. I was hoping the prices on Mark V's will come down now the VII is out. maybe a Mark V 35 or 90 head. Been on a Marshall kick though. Not a fan of the JVM's. Maybe if I can find a Vintage Modern or a Jube. Possible Ceriatone or Splawn

The Synergy stuff is gorgeous, but $2300 gets you in range of a lot of really nice heads (e.g. the aforementioned Victory stuff.)I havent played one but I have read and watched good stuff about em. This caught my eye too. Choice of 2 modules out of some great ones. 2300 for the whole rig.

To be fair. The Synergy stuff is also really nice and well worth 2300 for the power amp, syn2, and 4 modules! The Synergy stuff is gorgeous, but $2300 gets you in range of a lot of really nice heads (e.g. the aforementioned Victory stuff.)

If there's one thing I love to do; it's scratch up my Land Rover's hood with guitar gear
Apparently. Desert Dweller has great things to say about the Syn power amp. I have read conflicting reports on it enough to the point where I have no desire to try one out and deal with the hassle of not liking it. If my deciding factor was shooting for that 2u form factor; it would be the top choice.I think he/she want's us to know they have a Land Rover.
Yeah that's another thing. Rack stuff doesn't really excite me these days. It's actually another thing that I need to purge. I have at least 8 rack units I need to get rid ofApparently. Seems like you'd probably wind up better financially selling the turd amps and using those proceeds to put the mk III in a head shell.I know but I am pretty much done with combos. I think a lot of the channel voicing went into the Satriani Marshall if I am not mistaken he used a 6100 for years the original kind blue and goldOh I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up. I do know it was recently serviced but I dont know what was done.
