That's drastically better right there.

Someone re-recorded St. Anger with better tone and drums a few years back that was also a big improvement:

Everything up to Justice (my favorite) is great, Black is also good.
Load and Reload is soft radio rock and the last era of their true creative effort, be it as it is.

From there, zero soul = bad music.

Also; I keep reading the thread title as Slaughter with a normal sounding snare. Which is tough because there are only 2 bands I am aware of named Slaughter and they are both :oops:

Justice is one of my favs as well. If you haven’t heard this, take a listen. If I’m going to listen to that album, it’s going to be this version until I can find something better. Regarding the topic, never got into St.Anger then or now…
