Speaking of the drip; Axe III incoming.

I had the rack kit when I had the PS. That LXII would actually fit if I relocated the power strip in the rack currently.

Oh lordy.
The LXII is nice. If you liked the PS you’re going to like it. The fan noise is kind of ridiculous for bedroom playing though, but your bedroom playing is quite a bit louder I think, so maybe it’d be no problem.

Someone has been selling a LXII for ages used over here in Finland and one reason why I didn't bite is my less than stellar track record with Fryette and especially their customer support.

But the real reasons are the fan noise and those internal presence/depth controls. Fryette says they are because they found people would set&forget them, but I know myself and I'd always be wondering if I should adjust those and being a PITA to do so is a big minus for me.

FWIW the fan is only audible if you're playing at extremely low volumes. I've haven't had any cause or impulse to adjust the presence or depth controls - I just turn the buttons on or off. There's already so much tweaking available on the Axe-FX.

@JiveTurkey You get around to playing with the Triple Crown/Triple Crest models in your new configuration? Hard to get better than that for "Booster EL34 Boogie" tones, as long as you remember to use the built-in boost function in the amp block (I find the CC/Cliff Chase boost works wonders as well as the Grinder)

Would be curious to see how it compares to your Badlander 50....

I have not. That's not amp that has ever really pulled me in, irl? I bet it's great if the other Boogies are any indication.
