LB - but I totally got mixed up and thought it was the Pantera/Suicidal Tendencies night! Doh! Don't mind LB but a like Pantera and Suicidal a lot more!
Oddly enough one of the previous times I saw Metallica Limp Bizkit opened for them too

It's really more of a feel thing with Zakk. It's just brutally loud volume.If you're in the market for it; that lineup delivered!

Saw him live during P&G days at a local spot maybe 1000 person venue. It felt just as loud as a full stadium with the house-sized PA towers slamming you during his last tour with Ozzy. Rob Zombie opener with John5 pulling guitar duty for that one.
Man that seems like forever ago.

One opener was cancelled due to rain at our 2nd night of Metallica shows, we still had to suffer through Five Finger Fart Box, though.

Hahahahha I would have rather missed Five Finger. I saw Ice Nine before, twice I believe. Can't remember what they sounded like but they had an entertaining stage act. During Five Finger I just kept waiting for someone to get arrested for spousal abuse.
