sOoN... again?

I'm not as harsh on QC and NDSP as a lot of people, and the QC is still appealing to me in some ways, but a QC II would be such a slap in the face to users tbh. Axe FX III came out in January 2018 and Helix came out in Summer 2015. The QC came out in November 2020. Not to mention that the former two, unlike the QC, actually achieved and surpassed all of their promised features, and have had remarkable long term update schedules with tons of amps and FX added for no extra charge.

They can and will do anything as they've already proven

Cash-flow baby
I am going to leave this as they might , I can’t remember where I saw it but there was a bigger board planned
It like 3 bears
Quad was the std
Nano is the smallest
And there was one higher

If they do release and Octa Cortex with more switches
Exp pedal , I think people will lose their minds 🍿

Not sure they'd lose them in a good way. These guys couldn't get QC 1 to full 1.0 status after four years. Are people really going to flip over a QC II?

Also, Line 6 is making people comfotable spending Stadium XL money because of their proven developoment track record. You know you're not just paying for what comes in the box today, but also years and years of needle-moving add-ons and enhancements.

What does one get for a similar price for a QC MKII?

There's just not much real reason to put out a QC II. It still uses a pretty powerful processor that is in production, and is a top seller according to Thomann. The compact form factor is a...well, factor, in its popularity.

I fully expect it's going to be something a bit disappointing. Like some stupid artist collaboration or something. Or maybe they will release a footswitch with better switch spacing or something.

It's likely It's an update. It's the 5th year anniversary. And especially now with what Dan said.

It’s still the sleekest and most multi-functional device on the market. I keep thinking one day they’ll just figure out that all they really need to do is start cranking out amps and effects on it, but they are so buried by PCOM that the library never meaningfully grows. The brilliant form factor and captures covering the content deficit, has carried them a long way. You put FAS in that enclosure, with that feature set, and it’s the greatest device ever made. :ROFLMAO:

Best I can do is "Still the only full-powered compact floorboard that combines multifx, modeling and captures."

But FAS themselves ain't putting out something with squished together footswitches and a Mickey Mouse power supply that actually takes longer than Helix Stadium 1.1 to boot after 5 years of development.

I feel like we watched the same rando YT boot time comparison video today

I’m not sure what the meaningful distinction is, but I’ll go ahead and modify…

They should, I would buy it. :ROFLMAO:

I never understood the enamor for the physical design. It looks like someone photoshopped an iPhone 6 to have footswitches.
You say that like its a bad thing :rofl
Still arguably the nicest looking unit on a desk. Regular stadium will come close but I think in general the QC still "looks" the sleekest.
