Some pedals incoming

I don't have a second cab, but I'm afraid that if I get one I'll try this shit out and then get lost in the void

I hope BOSS fixed the tone suckage in the newer SMD based NS-2. I have an older made in Taiwan NS-2 and it has heavy low pass filtering even when bypassed.
I need to grab a new one.

So second Boss NS-2 is not taking care of noise from the Rectifier. I have a headache trying to explain the signal chain so I might just live with the waterfall :rofl

Edited for here's the chain:
Gtr---Wah---NS-2 In
NS-2 Send---Phaser---Flanger---SD1---RAT Clone---Micro Amp 2---MXR Stereo Chorus---Out 1 to In Mk III; Out 2 to Rectifier

Mk III Send---NS-2 Return---NS-2 Out---Boss SDE3 In---SDE3 Out 1---Mk III Return
Rectifier Send---Boss SDE3 In 2---SDE3 Out 2---Rectifier Return

I added the second NS-2 between the Rectifier Send and SDE3 In 2. It did not cut any additional noise. Not sure where the extra noise is happening.

I figured it out. I need to run the 2nd NS in front of the Rectifier as well. I wrongfully assumed that putting the first NS up front was covering all the noise of everything coming out of the stereo chorus but it wasn't. Issue now will be how to arrange the board with both gates. 1st world problems.

JVM gone. Tumnus Deluxe sounds great but was crusty AF and they sold the Dmension chorus in two days time, apparently. Ill keep my eyes peeled elsewhere \m/

Dimension Waza here. If I used it for clean sounds; I probably would like it much better. In the loop; I just don't like it all. Volume jumps with dual modes and weird phasey-ness for me for whatever reason. MXR up front I think is where my chorus journey is going to end. Probably either replace the Waza Chorus with the Tumnus up front as another drive option or add another delay of some sort in the loop. GT-OD is solid as far as corrected Tube Screamers go?

SCF didn’t make the cut?

I’ve heard the GT-OD is decent. I always Get really confused by all the bargain “classic overdrive” pedals MXR has… there anre too many of them.

Another one I like in the cheap TS clone camp is the EHX East River. I always thought it was voiced nicely. I think Analog Mike worked on it?
