Wow, I somehow managed to completely block this out of my memory in our chorus discussions and it's the chorus pedal I want the most. I think they were selling them recently for like $80, too.

I just bought an EVH Phase 90 and a junction box for my FM9 board and I don't "need" a chorus right now, but there's one on Reverb for $83. Was it Musician's Friend selling them for $80?

Edit- After seeing them at $199 everywhere I just bought the one for $83.

How is the flanger on it? Could you pull off Barracuda with it?

Good question. I’ll have to mess with the flanger side more today and get back to you on that.

It’s on the subtle side, I can’t remember if you can get enough depth on it for something like that. I’ve only used the flanger on subtle pseudo-chorus settings so far.

It's not a hard requirement but if I can at least convince myself it could work as a 2 for 1 pedal; that always helps in my trains of delusional logic

The biggest reason I wanted one (and have for years) is EJ’s use of it for his cleans. I’m more than sure someone else I’m into has used one as well, but when it comes to EJ stuff it’s pretty much always a “if it’s good enough for EJ I probably need it” thing.

Thanks for checking it for me! It would be for the loop so that's a good thing. Even if it's a light flange as an excuse

I think it would work very well in a loop, and I think it gives a really nice contrast to the MXR chorus. Enough that I could definitely see it being worth having both on the same board for different uses
