As mentioned in pm's, I have really came around on 7's. Took 3 tries and some time, but damn if they don't excel at some stuff! Especially if you don't get a 25.5" scale one.You guys all suck. I don't even have a 7.

I agree with your point on scale length. To me, a 25.5” scale length 7 string (looking at you Majesties) is just a 6 string with a B thrown on. Longer scale length at least gives a different vibe/timbre and gives you some downtuning options without getting dumb with string gauges.As mentioned in pm's, I have really came around on 7's.
