You guys all suck. I don't even have a 7. :brick

:beer
As mentioned in pm's, I have really came around on 7's. Took 3 tries and some time, but damn if they don't excel at some stuff! Especially if you don't get a 25.5" scale one.

And I thought you had one, maybe it was a baritone 6 and I'm just dumb, lol.

Only one I have, actually for sale. I love the guitar tbh but I've always gone back and forth between playing on a 6 or a 7 and im currently in the I need a 6 string mindset and cant really afford 2 guitars.

Way off topic here but what I've established after playing both 6 and 7 back and forth is that to me, the 7 strings usually sound better even in the same tuning (never compared identical 6 vs 7 however) but a 6 string is just easier to play difficult guitar work and still sounds great.

Have to edit: I tune to B and sometimes Drop A. I'm sure a 6 would sound better than a 7 in standard E perhaps?

Have also tested 6 vs 7 in C. I won't really go lower than the Drop A so I don't think the 7 sounding slightly better overrides the much easier to play fast technical guitar on a 6 string, at least for me.

Im sure if someone is in Drop G or Low E or something extreme then a 6 string is a useless tool.

I have had a few in the past--so maybe I mentioned that. I also have a 26.5" scale Baritone. :idk

I agree with your point on scale length. To me, a 25.5” scale length 7 string (looking at you Majesties) is just a 6 string with a B thrown on. Longer scale length at least gives a different vibe/timbre and gives you some downtuning options without getting dumb with string gauges.
