SHOW OFF YOUR PEDALBOARD!

Might as well post the top of my board since I posted the shit show underneath in another thread. Looks a lot cleaner from this view.

This is the first effects board that I've built in decades. Looking at it fills me with a joyous and wholesome feeling that I first felt while watching "The Sound of Music" as a child. I still need to get slightly longer than average patch cables to plug in the MXR carbon copy deluxe.

So I just re-did my whole signal chain, threw some old effects off and added the Wampler Tumnus + the Fairfield barbershop, The idea being that the barbershop should be an ā€œalways onā€ pedal (as suggested in another thread).
Still need to tweak the volumes of my fuzzes, the barbershop gets a bit fizzy if I push it with too much volume, but lord oh mighty my board has really come to life!
Also: Seems that my delay section suddenly has room for both a Strymon Cloudburst and a Walrus Audio Fable….as soon as my budget has the same room šŸ˜…

No pics at hand, but the V1 POG replaced my T-Rex 8 Ball (sleeper poly octave with 2 presets!!!) and I wired up an "essentials" board using a PT Nano+ with the following:

Sonicake Cry Bot > SA LA Lady > Wampler Tumnus > T-Rex 8 Ball > Dunlop 105Q (off board) > Way Huge Aqua Puss mk2 > Digitech Polara

So far, power comes from a 6-way daisy chain and a dedicated supply for the wah, with no noise issues, at least at home.

It's tiny but capable ("that's what she said").

What Thorpy is that in the top right corner?
Scarlet Tunic

One of the only pedals I’m aware of that offers Selmer tones. I owned a 65(?) Treble And Bass with the matching 15ā€ Goodman equipped cabinet and it was incredible!
This pedal comes close enough to scratch that itch through my Quilter Superblock UK plus it offers Vox and Hiwatt settings as well.

Made room for the small (large) clone. I am really happy with it as a chorus and it does the faux leslie thing really well with the rate cranked up. The downsides are it’s massive, and it pops the first time I click it on after powering up. I think I’ll just deal with it since it sounds great and it only happens the first time I click it on.

Burn unit is now handling overdrive duties and the gain changer is always on just adding a little something. The burn unit is without a doubt the best overdrive pedal I have used, it nails the dumble fat and smooth distortion sound in my head.

Volume pedal is hooked up to the stomp as an expression pedal for wah or whatever else I can use it for.

This is my first big old school EHX pedal. They are on sale for 69 bucks which isn’t much more than the caline clone I was using so I figured why not. It’s almost as big as the stomp, lol, a lot of space for what it is but I have to admit it looks pretty cool on the board.

It’s a mess right now (1st time putting one together in a long while), but a mix of cheapies and not-so. Added my MXR Micro Amp in place of the Santa Carla. The top right is my Devi Ever Hyperion clone. Fuzzes will come and go in that space. My crappy paint job on the Hyperion. EQD Easy Listening goes to phones or iPad. Will be skipped for live use.
