I hope posting this is OK; I'm new here, so if it's too soon, apologies! It felt like home when I got here. This piece is recent and it's all about that, so I posted a link:
Strings are a combination: Spitfire Audio's Abbey Road Orchestra Professional or Appassionata Strings for Violins 1 (I'll have to check); Kepler Strings for Violins 2; London Contemporary Orchestra's violins for a touch of texture here and there; Spitfire Orchestra Cellos and Basses.
Brass is Kepler Horns for the repeating chordal parts; Abbey Road One Low Brass; Spitfire Symphony Horns for melody (they sound kinda majestic);
Woods are British Drama Toolkit for the softer articulations; Spitfire Symphony Woodwinds for the parts where things build;
Percussion: Hans Zimmer Percussion Professional for the Tymps; Spitfire's Cinematic Soft Piano; Spitfire Symphony Percussion for the Celeste.
Thanks! I should mention that the biggest difference between Spitfire's professional line and their standard line is that the pro stuff has a variety of microphone positions that can be mixed, while their standard stuff has only one or two. There are a few additional articulations.
