Schecter Basses: what say ye?

I like the walnut J style. I like passive bass pickups though. Never tried EMGs so not sure on those but I’ve generally preferred passives to actives with bass.

I should get a bass of my own one of these days. I’d love a good Jazz Bass style. Or at least a P with the J bridge pickup.

Basses are one area where I actually prefer actives, for some reason.

My bass player's Dingwall can switch between passive and active I think? That thing sounds :satan:satan:satan all his other basses sound like poo in comparison (even though he has some nice basses lol)

I’ve only tried a few Schecter bases, but if they are as well made as the guitars, they should be awesome. They always delivers with great looks and solid builds. Only thing I’d watch out for is the weight. Played one Schecter that could have anchored a Carnival Cruise ship. ;)
