Anyone looking for an entry-level guitar and/or bass should check these out. My understanding is the bodies and necks are essentially the same as the normal Solar line stuff, but the hardware and electronics are budget-friendly - and of course the Solar 12th fret inlay isn't there on these, just dots - which work better for beginners. These likely make great starter guitars that offer solid mod-growth possibilities.

If my kid kept any interest in guitar at all, I'd be buying him one for Christmas, no doubt.

Dear Ola baby Jesus:

Please offer the Grandpa Tele in this series. No 12th fret inlay is actually a godsend because I don't like the looks of it for myself at all.

White is good but Grandpa Ash is the GOAT. I'd like it with dots a bazillion% more.

I noticed some of the models just have dot inlays now. That's nice. (y)

well... actually most of them in this line. Keeps some of the cost down I suppose.

Battle Axe headstock would make you a dangerous hang on stage, though. :idk
Not as bad as those metal headstocks on some basses - got whacked in the face with one of those mid-set one time. Made it tricky to remember where I was in the song… or the state…
