Reverb pedals?

Nothing wrong with BOSS!
That space echo station seems cool too.

The only MXR experience I have is the Phase 45 that Analogman did some stuff too.
It sits in its box.

MXR can be good. I collected a bunch of their pedals and like them. FWIW Tim Pierce runs the MXR reverb on his board. I've been meaning to pick one up for a while but then I got sidetracked into starting a Boss collection lol

Another cheap one that may be worth exploring, the EQD Dispatch Master. It's a combo delay/reverb but Tom Bukovac uses one as a reverb only. I think the whole idea is to add a little ambience to the guitar rather than be a massive effect.

Belle Epoch is an Echoplex emulation and the Volante is an Echorec emulation.
Catalinbread also makes a cool take on the Echorec.

The C'Bread Echorec has a built-in preamp like the Belle Epoch---which are easy
to all in love with.

The Echorec has a Tone control so you can make the repeats as bright and metallic
as you want, or as murky and polluted. Fun pedal. And if you like C'Bread the
Talisman is a great take on a Plate Reverb.

So. Many. Possibilities.

What's your budget? The only thing I would recommend other than the UAFX Golden is the new Fractal VP4, just because it'll do so much more than reverb. Aesthetically, it's pretty utilitarian so it's not going to win any eye candy awards... and it's not cheap. But the quality of the reverbs are going to surpass most standalone pedals, IMO.

I dont care about budget as much as I care about ease of use.

I don't like UAFX as a company, but this thing sounds better to me than the the Flint, the RV-200 and anything from Fractal, including the new VP4*.

*when used with tube amps
Hard disagree, having owned it, the Blue Sky v2, and the FM9T. I mean, we all hear things differently, I guess. It was good, the others are better. And the Starlite Delay I couldn't return fast enough. Crap.

Haven't tried the Blue Sky. Were you using the FM9 in the loop of a tube amp or as an amp modeler? I love my AXEIII's reverb with amp models, sounds absolutely killer, but those same reverb blocks running on the VP4 through my tube amps don't seem to have quite the same fidelity/depth of the Golden (or the AXEIII in a modeling context). I'm still tweaking..

Something is lost in the DAC when you use it FX only.
