Quilter Elevate

Bump for the “anti modeller”

Such relaxed and chill video (a relief compared to other YouTube spectacles out there….)
If spectacle is required to have the thing make sound before the 30 minute mark, I'll take the spectacle...

I actually agree… I did watch everything because I think those two dudes are great dudes. But I had the time so why not. But I wouldn’t watch 5 episodes in the same manner :rofl

And before Tim implodes…
No fx loop. Move on Tim.

NPR for modelers.

What is that room they recorded the video in? It looks and sounds like they put a bunch of foam up in an airplane and recorded this at 30,000 feet. Super-odd video.

Quilter have an airstream that they take to events. It's fitted out as a studio.

Isn’t that what @laxu has been assigned to do.

I thought our committee of imbeciles decided on that a long time ago. You’re out of line here Jive… I strongly object to this. Let the record (of eternal forum carvings) state that the Swede didn’t recognized any statements about interface before the chosen one has spoken!

I wish them well, and I bet it’ll appeal to the Sansamp/Flyrig5 crowd looking for better quality.

Might be. But I'd rather get a Stomp any day instead.
For me, one of the appealing things of anything FlyRig-ish is the WYSIWYG operation, making them suitable for pretty much any situation you might be thrown into. The Elevate is almost the opposite of that because it doesn't exactly lend itself to quick tweaks - to even put it rather friendly.

The last Quilter I had sort of cured me of Quilter GAS permanently. It was a TB something or other. The Q sauce really didn't trip my trigger at that point. I think I was using the semi open back DV 2x12 (which definitely played into meh) and I think it was a Stomp I was using at the time as well. So not my ideal bit of kit in either direction. Unless portability was the goal then it was god tier.

Looks like it’s officially out, $499. I wish them well, and I bet it’ll appeal to the Sansamp/Flyrig5 crowd looking for better quality. But ain’t for me.

I wish this wasn't going to be the case but I predict a Sweetwater "run out" deal at $199 or $299 within 6 - 9 months, maybe a few months longer.
