yes, but can that 1 return block act as both RETURN1 and 2 simultaneously or do I need 2 separate return blocks. That remains to be known. It will be sometime before my QCM arrives so too much time to think about integration, not enough time to try it.
From the QCM manual. T is return 1, R is return 2.

Yeah as @mbenigni says, use a Y cable to convert the two outputs of the VP4 from TS into a single TRS plug. Put that in the Return 1/2 jack on the QCM. Add the appropriate block to the grid:

- Return 1/2 for juat bringing in the stereo signal from VP4
- FX Loop 1/2 if you are using the Send 1/2 to send out to VP4 and want it to come right back into the QCM kinda like an amp’s FX loop does it

thanks. It's actually going to send to the AM4 but that's fine. Mono/stereo no matter for the send. I was more concerned that the QC can treat the return as stereo pair in one block. It's not overly complicated but the manual doesn't give a lot of detail.
