(P.S. I have no idea why every other local band isn't named "Puppet Show".)

It sounds like Fractals are not for you. I love the constant updates. I’ve noticed a distinct improvement in the amp models over time and think Cliff and team’s dedication to giving us free updates for now nearly decade-old devices like the Axe FX III and it’s sub units (FM series, AM4, and VP4) is downright impressive. Do I think amp captures are better than models? Yes, but that’s coming from someone that owns and captures his own amps. If I didn’t have amps, I’d be happy with Fractal models for sure, they sound great.

Contrast that with the Nano Cortex that couldn’t upload captures for 8 months and was only just updated. Or the fact that every time I upload 4-5 IRs to the Cortex cloud, only 1-2 shows up available in my NC (and I’ve verified they are all the same format). The bugs with Neural products are a little intense compared to the relatively stable Fractal software. Plus I can click and drag presets from the device, and I can click and drag IRs to the device, things I can do on all fractal devices, while my NC can’t do either as there’s no PC app and the ecosystem is locked down.
Currently I still have an AM4 and a VP4 along with the FM9. I have owned Fractal devices since the AX8.
I'm still loving the AM4 and as long as there are no major issues, I'll leave it on the current firmware.
The new pitch block adjustments had me upgrading the FM9. Frustrated...Lots of issues this time around as seen by the FW11 threads. They'll probably figure it out.

I'm certainly not saying that other vendors don't have their struggles. I'm vendor neutral. Kemper, NDSP, L6, Tonex... tried them all. I have owned a QC three times. It just seems now that NDSP has new hardware and the feature set has advanced, I'll give it a shot.

Probably pick up a Stadium in a few years when the dust has settled there as well.

I just found a shop that has the QC Mini in stock, and I even have a 10% discount voucher for it. GAS pressure is mounting. Should I go for it?
Sounds the same as me. I had a 10% coupon so if it doesn't work out, I might break even if I have to sell it.

Has anyone with the QCM tried using both of the effects loops simultaneously with the Y cables?
Since the TRS cable end going into the QCM handles both SEND1/2, that makes the loops mono only?
I can't find in the manual if the send1/2 can be used as a stereo pair.

I guess I could split the path and have left and right on independent paths.

Why do I feel like I just stopped understanding what "stereo" means? :wat
