Power Switch Replacement (Don't let me die)

Appreciate the resources! I think I might just take it in. I'd love to give it a go but the risk just outweighs the reward for me. I'm sure id be fine but it's not that big of an issue. I might not even take it in. Standby switches are useless anyway right šŸ¤£

Don't be too intimidated by it. Like anything you just need to pay attention to what you're doing. I built a couple of kit amps with my only previous experience being guitar wiring and I'm still alive and kicking.

If you decide to take it to a tech, the bench fee (usually around $60 - $70) plus the cost of the switch (unless you provide it) should be your expected out of pocket cost.

if you have a multi meter and follow the discharge protocol you have nothing to worry about. You can test it before you start anyway.
Itā€™s a very simple job.
