I feel somewhat bad about this interaction cause you seem like a genuine enough guy. I guess from the forum locals point of view here, we see these kinds of posts a lot and the vast majority of times it’s from bad faith shills or people telling half truths about their involvement etcYou are assuming facts not in evidence. Let me repeat this AGAIN ... I HAVE NO VESTED INTEREST IN THIS PRODUCT. Seriously. I got exactly what every beta tester got: a free copy of the prelease software. I have no agenda and my preference would be just to have this go away.
And I will also repeat for the third time. I was asked to check out the site. I have now checked out the site. It didn't go especially well.
Second to that a lot of us massively have our ear to the ground with digital products and plugins and can quickly get a sense of how these things will be received. A gui like that one stands out so much compared to every other modern product that it’s hard to look past it (at least at first glance).
Plugins are insanely advanced now, there’s no way that this plugin will ever sound substantially better than helix native, neuraldsp, mixwave, polychrome dsp and the 100 other amp sims already on offer, it’s a highly competitive market.
If you have nothing to do with owning the plugin then there’s no need to absorb this feedback personally. I think it’s valuable information that should be fed back up the chain to the developers to improve their product before launch. Your playing was great and the sounds were decent enough. You’ve done your part and you did it well.
