I still have my Rockmaster preamp, and in a way, yes, it would "easier" to throw this new pedal onto a pedalboard for that tone, BUT, if I already have the TUBE preamp here, that might be kind of dumb.
I want to know more about that clean pedal platform amp
All it needs to be is just the low input of the VTM.

I watched this a couple of years ago and it left a bad taste in my mouth for Peavey. Your opinions may vary but I have no interest in this product.
