I wanted to give this its own thread instead of piggybacking on the other PastFx threads because they deserve all the visibility and recognition they can get!

This thing is absolutely off-the-charts amazing!

I can’t remember the last time I was this blown away by a pedal. The richness and depth to it is stunning. I didn’t think anything could top the JAM Waterfall for those qualities, but this thing has done it.

It is very quirky, beware of that if you’re looking. The input is very sensitive and overloads easily, but the bonus is that it makes a cool quirky overdrive pedal if you push it hard. It’s a drive that has a very unique texture to it. So it’s actually pretty cool with overdrive pedals in front because it just makes more texture that adds to the sound.

I’m not big on vibrato, but since you can set that separate from the chorus it actually makes it useful. I found a sound I really love setting a super fast fluttery vibrato and running it into my SCF set for chorus. It adds an awesome sense of movement.

Shipping was super fast! Way faster than I thought possible, and no issues from customs.

Also it came packed with a whole “taste of Australia” in the box!

I did a shootout with all my chorus pedals. The SCF is a totally different type of effect and stands on its own. It’s amazing and I still love it. Of the others, the PastFx easily wins out over the MXR and Waterfall. It’s going on the board.

I just discovered something!

I was messing with it in stereo, I set both amps just on the edge of breakup, grabbed my Les Paul, flipped the input sensitivity to High, and turned up the level. Pushing the amps into overdrive in stereo with this pedal is :love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love:love

I never would have thought of using a chorus as a boost to push an amp into overdrive! This is a totally new sound to me and it’s amazing. I wish you guys could hear this!

Oh, and by the way, running 4 choruses, a phaser, a flanger, a vibrato, two delays, a tremolo, and a spring reverb all at once and doing volume swells to sound like vintage synth pads is addictive fun!

Whoa!!! I only got one TimTam with my Revolution!!!!!

Good to hear, Met!!! And I agree, PastFX deserves all the visibility they can get! I love what they’re doing with the discontinued products from year’s past and can’t wait to see what they do in the future. They get an automatic A+ from me just for their Colors collection, all the Gilmour-in-a-box pedals.

I’d love to see them take on the SPX90 Symphonic preset in a pedal form.

This pedal has forever won me over! I’m big on chorus pedals and I play as many as I can find, and this is the best one I’ve ever heard.

The sounds at Met's place right now
check it out tim and eric GIF

Yeah, right now the gear I’ve got might be the best sounding gear I’ve ever had
