Was there ever a Boss Chorus Flanger pedal?

Back in the '90s I had 7 Boss guitar pedals. In the 2000s I had to sell them. I'm 100% that one of those pedals was named Chorus Flanger. It was blueish, on the lighter side. I could swear that that was one of my pedals.

Now I'm trying to buy the pedals I had again, and I cannot find a single instance of that pedal, neither as a current model nor as an old one on eBay or even doing a search on Google.

Is my memory so bad that this pedal never existed and I completely imagined having it?

Do you remember how many knobs it had? Based on the color you recall, it was likely one of the Chorus pedals as they are all mostly some kind of blue. Flangers are mostly plum/magenta color.

Looking at all of them, it sounds to me that it was the Chorus Ensemble. Somehow in my brain I replaced "Ensemble" with "Flanger".

This is still a great pedal £69 in Andertons sale.

This sounds great and is outstanding value for money at £65.

Wait, why is the forum converting "Beh-ringer" into "Behringturd" automatically? I know it's not the highest quality, but I have a Beh-ringer audio interface that is really solid.

You need to ask @Dave Lewis this question.
But I think it's out of respect, pretty sure turd around here means really, really awesome or something.

I had one of these for a time. Maybe it was bad timing or something but I never really liked it that much tbh. It always sound too bright and anemic for my tastes. I much preferred an old DOD chorus I had years before.

It’s basically a moderator on here doesn’t like Berhinger .
So we have to put up with his petty censorship of the name.
Lots of there gear available in the uk & EU.
I’m taking a wild guess why there isn’t much stock in the US is because of where they are made .

The big German retailer Thomann are shutting down there US Harley Benton distribution / shipping warehouse at the end of this month for the same reasons.

I have the MOOG version of this; you can pull any flange/chorus tone out of it, your heart desires. The only downside is that it is large and takes up a lot of pedalboard real estate. From what I understand, the Berringer version sounds damn close.

Well, I ended up buying the Boss Chorus Ensemble, which is most likely what I I had back in the '90s. And when I connected, I was really underwhelmed by it. So I bought the Joyo Vision, and the difference is gigantic. It's like two pedals in one, and definitely a Chorus and a Flanger, among many other things. So the Boss one is going back.

Only issue I have with the Joyo Vision is that it has an internal red LED that blinks all the time while it's connected to power. When the pedal FX is disabled, it's easy to tell, although it's not very bright, especially compared to the LED bar that turns on when either FX is enabled. Even then you can see it if you really pay attention.

Apparently this is inherit to the pedal, lots of people online saying the same thing. I tried the rest of the 9V jacks in my pedal board, as well as another power supply that I had, and it's still there. It works just fine, it's just that annoying thing. But it has so many cool FX that I don't care much.

I have all six of these excellent pedals.
I generally use them on my studio desk when needed or in a rack on sliding draws into patch bays.
