What I’m seeing is there’s a hole on the market for a Noob’s IR Creator tool plugin thing. (I would instabuy it)

Well, it would have to bypass anything else on the track as well. Possibly hard to tell that to the plugin. And that's defenitely what's using up most of the time. Dirac-dragging, setting of bouncing range and soloing the track really isn't much of an issue and trimming isn't exactly needed, either because most hardware will truncate any excess length automatically.

You might wanna look at Melda's MCab. Allows for direct IR export.
But otherwise the available tools aren't so hard to understand IMO. They're just all a little limited in one or the other aspect.

I think I've gone the other way with IR's. I thought it would be great to be able to move mics around but it ends up being yet another layer of decisions I have to make and don't want to. Lately I've just been using Leon Todd's TV Mix because it's the least amount of decisions I have to make.

Fwiw, I'm pretty much in the same camp. I always end up using the same 2 IRs that are also my main live IRs. In fact, it's just one IR that I carefully mixed together years ago plus a somewhat brighter rendition with a little bit of EQ baked in.
Sure, sometimes when I'm recording, I may fool around with some stuff (the Two Notes collection i have is quite decent), but usually I still end up using my live IRs, simply because one of my two boards is always ready-to-roll and that's pretty much all I need.
So there goes all my aquired knowledge about how to create IR mixes - it's just an academic thing.
And when I think about it, back in my real amp/cab days, I always only used 2 cabs as well (ok, sometimes 3, but an Orange 4x12 really isn't much fun to deal with...).

For me it's often "I like this IR...except I'd want to change this little bit". With IR mixing tools I can work towards that goal myself instead of hoping another IR gets me there. It's a lot more intuitive for me.
Granted, a lot of IR packs have the work done for you and work well out of the box.

They've also posted on their fb page, and I guess other places.

While it could have been handled better, at least they're willing to listen to feedback and make changes. They probably should have put out a quick notice that they were working to add the cloud licensing. If people knew it was being added, there wouldn't have been as much backlash. I still think they should consider adding some sort of limited demo or trial version, possibly with some features limited.
