I know there's 1,000 pages on each but I just can't decide.

I really like the looks of the mini because its super small and I would definitely set my tone and put it away. No scenes live, don't need multiple tones, just one.

My SW rep offered me $200 off the full size.

QC full size - $1,702 total in stock.
Mini - $1,489.59 and backordered.

I could stomach the gas pains and wait for the mini to come in I suppose if its worth it.

Im aware of the lower noise floor and a couple of the functionality differences but im pretty much a QC noob here.

What would you do? Anyone have both of these? Is the full size now worth $200 more?

It entirely depends on whether or not you need the footswitches - which I think you said you don’t - so it’s pretty apparent which one you need. They are both the same brain.

lol who doesnt need footswitches?

you ever put a bunch of different heavily effected octaves on momentary switches...

I really dont. I play in a death metal band and use one tone. Id use the tuner and at best step on one button for some harmonies maybe but thats about it and even that is a stretch.

I figured if I need a ton of effects at home or recording I could take my time with it.

Plus I saw in Olas video how he was double clicking and using only the bottom 2 on the mini to get 4.

Honestly leaning to the mini just because of the noise issues I've been hearing about plus the size.

MINI - also, does your band have any recordings out? I love death metal 😈

It was hard to do but I emailed my rep and passed on the $200 discount. Now I will stare at my Sweetwater cart with the mini until I have a breakdown.

I think that’s a good call given the use case outlined. If you don’t need the foot switches or IO then there is zero reason to not save money and get in on an absolutely elite form factor. Neural crushed the design on this.
