NUX B8 Guitar Wireless System

Explain something to me. Are they expecting most WiFi users to “graduate” to 5.8, and that’s why they keep making these in 2.4?

2.4Ghz just happens to be a ISM band that requires no government licensing, in pretty much all of the world. It's then a common choice for short-range, low-powered wireless devices - it just means you don't have to do extra paperwork to be able to sell globally.

There's plenty (14) of channels in that band though. As long the wireless implementation is smart about these, interference shouldn't really be a problem.

I'm still using a L6 G70.. Never had a problem unless I'm within two meters of a WLAN router....
B-8 providing the trade off between stability with latency is genius.

I was near a router. Maybe that was the problem.
Probably. I guess they figure most musicians, (besides mixing via ipad), won't be THAT close to a router, to cause an issue.

I started having issues early on with my 2.4 ghz Xvive wireless set, so I switched to the Lekato 5.8 ghz units, and I haven't had a problem, anywhere, (Vermont to Florida to Ohio, and in between), since.

Funny though, my 2.4 ghz Xvive IEM system hasn't given me a problem either.
