Jack Black doing Mr. Crowley was great as well \m/
Scott Ian's kid on bass and keys. That's Tom Morello's son on guitar.
Aside #5234: GnR also played Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (the song, obv.) in its entirety. I've never even seen Sabbath do that. I really expected to listen to Iron Man and Paranoid over and over again all day, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Maybe I should've said, 'for a guy in his 60's.'No offense to anyone who thought Axl and GnR killed it. They really did on Paradise City!![]()
My favorite song of all time. :)I remember Slash saying how much he loves Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in an interview a while back, especially that extra heavy part about halfway in (“where can you run to”) + how much the whole album influenced him as a teen.
So cool to see them playing it up there!
Too bad they couldn't find a better singer. But yeah, Nuno is my absolute favorite of all time. Is that a black limba N4 with inlayed maple stripes?![]()
Note the branding on the headstock-

Weird. It’s definitely an N4. But why would he do that?
Probably starting his own brand. I said it in the other thread, but Washburn is already making N4's in the Cort factory, he can skip the middle man and just start his own brand ala Ola/Zakk. And we all benefit.
Cort isn’t making the N4; that’s ghost built in Ohio I believe. The N2 and others are Cort made though.
Ahh, I’ve never kept up on the model deviations. I’m sure Nuno could find a company that could bust out some expensive/custom/‘handmade’ versions like Ola did with the Euro line. While it wouldn’t be a day one purchase, if he put out an import model with his own name it’d be a fun guitar to own. I’ve played a few over the years and dug them overall.
Just do a MIM and MIA version of the N4 with the SEC with Charvel. Done.
The Stephen’s Extended Cutaway is crucial to the N4, as it’s what makes the guitar unique.
I came away from all the clips of him playing wishing he would have picked a heavier band to be in all these years. In my mind it's the equivalent of a Reb Beach. KILLER guitar player? GOD yes. Am I going to sit through their band to be able to watch that skill in all its glory? GOD NO.
