Happy New Synth Day to me. I've been working on my keyboard skills and I'm playing them more so I wanted a dedicated synth so I'm not tied to a computer. I also couldn't afford a full on workstation. The Roland JUNO D6 seemed to be the perfect match and GC had a fantastic deal on a used one. Even more so since Roland prices have gone up 10% across the board. A new D6 was $899 until about a week ago. Now they're $989.

So far I like it and it's sized right for where I am. I've used my friend's Fantom 6 and while impressive, was too much for me right now. I couldn't even find how to do a simple EQ tweak on the fly. On the D6, press a button then turn the knob. Super easy.

Love it! Congrats. :banana

I think I mentioned that exact Synth in my Guitar Centering Thread. My Son was
playing it and the sounds coming out of it made me turn around go "What's that?"

Love playing Keys. I keep a Yamaha at our practice space and have a few Synths/Workstations
here at Casa Me Crazy! :beer
