NPD: Source Audio Collider

Bumping this old thread. I just got one of these the other day and I am liking it a lot.

The Reverb is brighter than I am used to, but I like the overall hi-fi quality to the sound. It stays very transparent with a lot of gain.

I like that it is simple and to the point, but with the features that matter, like analog dry through and parallel routing.

Does the reverb have a dedicated tone control on the collider?

I know I don't need one, I already have the Nemesis ADT and Ventris.... but dayum I want one again....

A big reason why I specifically wanted the Collider is because you can run Delay and Reverb in parallel. That helps a lot with the high gain metal sounds I use because running Delay into Reverb gets really messy sounding quickly.

I hadn't thought about that. Good point.

bump the lows (control 1) which will help to reduce the perceived brightness

I have been playing with putting the tone at 9 o'clock and bass at 3 o'clock. I would normally not put that much bass in a reverb, but it seems to help with the natural metallic sound it can have. Get it closer to the darker Lexicon sound.
