Howdy all boys, so yeah my experience with the Player plus Strat i bought not long ago has been once again terrible so it is going
I had the Neck sprouts fixed and the usual setup I like but it still had fret buzzing issues, my tech did a fret level and still getting some fret buzzing, my tech said he's seen this before on MiM necks from 2021-2023 the neck gets slightly warped and really no way to fix this, So Fuck Fender MiM and really Fuck Fender in general.
There were also some other things that bothered me as well the middle pickup it seems to get in the way also the volume knob.
So that being said i still wanted something with a single coil type sound and the only thing i found that suits me is the Schecter MV-6, ordered and should be in soon
it has a really interesting pickup configuration and switching capabilities

Sorry it didn't work out for you, but at least you know what you like now and gave it a shot. That Schecter looks nice, I like that configuration. I've heard mostly good things about their guitars so hope it works out!

Geesh, that truly sucks.

If it makes you feel any better I seem to always have at least one guitar that is a problem child. It was my Ibanez Prestige RG, I could talk for days about the problems it had - just glad it's gone. Now, it's my Legator that's inherited the title.

I believe you're going to have better luck with Schecters, they seem to care about their QC more than some others.

@Stone I feel the same way. I hated my Player Plus for the same reasons + those noiseless pickups have absolutely NO BALLS!!

BTW, Nice Guitar!!

The Pickups were not that much of an issue, they did not sound terrible it was the neck a total piece of shit
I’d love to know what is actually wrong with the neck. Because warped necks from certain years is grade A BS.

There is almost no fender style neck that can’t be fixed. If he knew what he is doing. I suspect the truss rod is creating a less then ideal geometry but why didn’t he say that?

He did tweak everything, including truss rods adjustments, fret leveling he is not a bad tech compared to other I've had in the past
But in any case its too much trouble for something I don't want to be bothered with any longer, so its on the chopping block ill take my losses and be done with it
PS: he has done work on my other guitars Yamaha, Ibanez, Godin none of them had any issues besides pro level set up
and are perfect to this day

Yeah that Schecter looks very interesting. Would love to give it a spin.

I only own one Schecter, a Coupe hollowbody, but it's impressively well built. I swapped the knobs to fancier looking ones I found in Japan, but otherwise it's been totally stock and I've got nothing but good things to say about it.
