My Fender Player Strat, LTD EC1000ET Evertune equipped LP wannabe - honestly... I wanted to love both, I didn't. Both have sat on the bench for over a year. I didn't get great prices. But.... I wanted rid of them. I've been trying to sell for most of this year, and a bit of last year. Being a lefty, nobody wanted them at reasonable prices. So what did you trade for it?
Sooooo....
One thing I was wondering about.... on channel 2, you've got the Mark I mode, which sounds pretty cool, but a bit dark compared to the other modes on that channel. I guess I need to figure out how to dial it in, without compromising the GEQ settings for the Mark IV mode on channel 3, which is absolutely gorgeous and killer.
Surprising to me actually how high you can go with the bass knobs on the channels. I was expecting to have to run them fully off, but up to noon is still full of great tones. Even 1 o'clock can sound cool if you subdue the GEQ low frequencies a bit.
A very interactive and cool amp.
Yeah defo. Was just wondering if there was a typically done thing with that mode. You can assign GEQ as on/off for each Channel. Can also play with Headroom/Wattage and
Tube Rectifier/Silicon distinctly on each Channel.
Thousand ways to skin a cat with that amp and get to where you are jiving with it.

If you are happy with the loss ...then fark it. As long as you are happy...that's all that matters. My Fender Player Strat, LTD EC1000ET Evertune equipped LP wannabe - honestly... Also gave them my TC Flashback II X4, and Strymon Timeline.
Total trade in value was £1040. The amp was £1950. So I owed them £910, which I plonked down.
Financially, this deal didn't make a huge ton of sense. But emotionally, it made the best sense, and I feel very happy with the amp! It is absolutely killer.
I toyed with trading in my Helix too. But just couldn't do it. 1, because Eric and Frank and Ben are really cool dudes, have been really great to me over the years, and 2... it still sounds freaking amazing, quite honestly. I have to keep it!
This was exactly it. In a month or two's time, I won't even give a shit about the money/trade side of things here.As far as trades go these days..... could have been worse....and who wants to bother with all the BS of selling it all individually....I get it. Especially if you just want to get the damn thing done and move forward.
Killer. I’ve been patiently waiting for you to make this leap knowing what you were looking for tonally and…well…knowing what you now also know…how baller the Mark circuit is - had a feeling this was going to be a hit.Sooooo....
