First one in FOUR YEARS, (THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID FOUR YEARS), for me. That's a long time, lol.
I had an old '86 Cherry Ice Ibanez RG410 that I bought for collector/nostalgic reasons, in the stable. Even though I never owned one back in the day, I just wanted it, and it was cheap, so I bought it. It collected dust, and a local guy saw it on a previous post at TOP, messaged me, and asked me if I were interested in selling it.
I wasn't looking to sell it, but he used to own one, and had been searching for one for a long time, and I got the feeling that the guitar meant a lot more to him than it did to me. I like spreading the good Karma into the universe, so, I let it go, for a profit, I might add, lol.
That is a long, drawn out way of saying, I took that money, and parlayed it into this. I haven't taken my own pics yet, so I've stolen these from Reverb, along with the specs:
Warmoth Stratocaster 2024 - Lake Placid Blue:
-Mahogany solid body/universal pick up route
-Roasted maple modern construction neck with black ebony board with 6150SS frets/Tusq nut/Standard thin neck shape/10-16inch radius
-Dimarzio Super Distortion in bridge and PAF Joe in neck
-Schaller tuners
-3 way switchcraft switch and RS guitar works cts 500k super pot in volume and cts 500k in tone position
-weighs about 8 lbs
-a few dings that have been photographed
-Setup with .10-.46 strings. Trem has been blocked but is easily reversible.
