The McCarty headstock is thinner than the customs but I don't know about the DGT models or SEs.

Standard post height for Gotohs seems to be 22mm (bottom to string hole) and the DGT's tuners kicked in at around 26-27. When I inserted the Gotohs and slapped the screwnut (is that the word?) over the post, the string hole was pretty much completely covered.
I was just looking and the DGT is using phase iii locking tuners so the headstock is definitely thicker than the McCarty. Looks like the se is the same thickness as the core guitar.

Do you think those PRS SE autolocking tuners would fit anyway?
These will fit. Andertons specify they won't fit mccarty, zack myers and Paul's guitars so they'll all have the thinner headstocks.
Yeah, can get them over here as well. I just hate that top locking design.

Seems as if whenever people say something like "perfect fit for a PRS SE" all models except the DGT are meant. Yuck.
So, do you folks think these will fit as well?

I've got some doubts because people in the comments seem to be using them for anything else but DGTs...
So I might indeed end up with those top locking things.
Kinda weird that there's so little choices for what seem to be a pretty popular guitar.
See that's weird because I think there are only two thicknesses of prs headstocks. To be sure I'd email a link to prs Europe and ask them. The guys there are really helpful

Those appear to be what I have, but are missing the black nuts on top.
Yeah I agree - I think all the Schecters come with locking tuners.Fwiw, I think it's a really bad move of PRS to ship the DGT without locking tuners. I mean, way cheaper vibrato-equipped guitars come with them these days, most PRS guitars as well. And I think pretty much anyone wants them anyway.
Wouldn't be half as bad if it was standard dimensions - but as is, it's possibly just the PRS ones that fit. Which might be ok, but it's not just that - because as the stock tuners are having the same unusual dimensions, you'll likely not find any good use for them, so straight into the trash they go. What a waste.
I'd rather pay 50 bucks on top, wouldn't have to worry about sourcing parts and wouldn't waste ressources.
