It gets here tomorrow, the specs knock it out of the park for me all the way down to the truss rod wheel. Plus it looks like it was accidentally left in a fire for JUST the right amount of time lmao. It's gonna be in A standard at least for the time being - I'll post pics tomorrow if FedEx doesn't fuck it up lol

It’s not as thin as an Ibanez, and feels very slightly thinner than a Schecter - it’s very comfortable! I like chunky necks too

The neck finish is smooth and the roasted maple must be ridiculously stable because it was in tune aside from two strings that only needed very minor adjustments. The hipshot bridge is suuuuper comfy. It shipped with 10s on a 27” scale in standard so it’s really more tension in the upper strings than I like, but tomorrow I’m putting a 10-65 7 string set on and tuning it to A standard

That's good to hear. My one and only 7 string is an Ibanez with a wide thin neck. I love it except for the neck and it's the only reason I can't play it for too long, besides the fact that no one I ever jam with leaves standard tuning.

I’m still a bit curious with them too haha, I mostly jive with passive pickups I have to deep dive with my amp the next time the house is to myself

I get more guitars mostly BECAUSE I like variety of tunings lol but I’m down to just 3 electrics - my PRS is gonna be in standard, my Majesty in Drop D and this will be A standard so it can also play D standard shit

Slapped on the Dunlop Korn signature set (I’m not a Korn fan since like the 8th grade but the strings are perfect for me), conditioned the fretboard and man this thing is perfect. 27” is the sweet spot I think for a 7 string. I can’t believe they ship this with 10s in standard when they ship 25.5” scale guitars with 9s, who tf is making those decisions up there lol

I feel like this guitar is a diamond in the rough/unspoken gem out there - it’s killer
