Oh yeah, I didn't even notice it was the NFL thread, and not MLB. Duh.

Plus, when you said 'Lions', my brain registered, Detroit, since you had just been talking about the Tigers, who had just beat the O's. I'm all over the place. I had just woken up from a nap, so that didn't help.

I shouldn't even be in these sports threads anyway. I don't know if it still is these days, but typically the AL East has been the toughest AL division, and the O's, whom I do like, looked like they had made some good team moves, bringing in some good young talent, had rebounded from the abyssal recent season(s), had been having a strong season this year (still have the 3rd best record in the AL), hanging tough with the Yankees, only to, as if on cue, start choking at the end!

And the Ravens, who were killing it a few years ago, doing the same thing, and starting out this season with 2 losses.

I'm a fair-weather fan, at best.
