This new kickoff is stupid. Either keep the OG kickoff or remove it entirely and let the offense start on the 20 unless the kicking team declares an onside kick attempt.

Yeah they change the rules to try and get team to run it back and they just kick it into the end zone every time.

The thing is they ran it back more often the original way. They are convinced that one play will significantly cut down on concussions, but it’s silly because OBVIOUSLY less football causes less concussions.

The improved helmets, penalties for targeting defenseless receivers, no touching QB’s etc is cutting down on head injuries. Just let them kickoff and play ball.
