So I’ve kind of hated the Jensen in my ‘76 deluxe reverb for a while now. Ordered a cream back, got it in today, holy shit it sounds so much better :love :love :love

Night and day difference!!

Dude… outta all the speakers over the decades…the best current production speaker for me is the Redback.
I bet the RB would be sweet through your amp there.
Everytime I switch to the Redback filled cabinet,
I get inspired.
Ready to eat.
Now we’re talkin’ ‘Driver’s”….=Celestions💯.
The P12 Jensen ain’t for drivin’.
Killer cleans.
A Roland Jazz Chorus sounds sick through them.
Break that Creamback on it brotha ‘🤘🏻

Pretty stoked, probably will play the DR more than a few times per year now 🤣

Need to try out my SUF Direwolf through this with the new configuration :love

Now that I’ve discovered I’ve just been a gigantic baby when it comes to soldering all these years I’ll probably get a lot more experimental with speakers and pickups across the board. Have carts and carts of pickups across the internet right now

Yes sir…I’m currently ear to ear in hairy beaver my man.-better then nothin’.
Anyways,remember Silence Of The Lambs-
The Prick Psychriatrist/Doctor having a “friend” for dinner this evening .?
RAD movie dude!!
Btw, that actor who plays Buffalo Bill is the same dude ‘Waingro” (the snitch) in the movie Heat
Remember that f’n dude??
Heat was also a rad movie, that’s got a lotta good actors in it that play cool parts!!
Val Kilmer getting the go-ahead to pass on through by the cop from his chick playing the con…-just had a memory of that!
Another rad movie dude is..”Shallow Grave”
That director F’N RULES!!
Nail bite’r movie that has a long half-life after you watch the movie..mucho’ time release.
One more man… “Scanner’s”
I ain’t sayin’ nothin’ except one thing:
Me & my early teenage buddies formed a
“Scanner’s Squad” back in the later 80’s in Detroit.
We Scanned hundreds of heads from
6 mile to 9 mile.
We actually would cruise around on go-carts & mini-bikes and pull up on people and ‘Scan’ them.
In the end , I got Scanned by a Karen of Scsnner’s-she actually had beefy
Psionic Abilities.
So a chick freakin’ Trumped me in the Scsn.
She f’n scanned me & my dude’s and we ducked. & ran for our fat whips and cruised home.
Word.

My parents watched ‘Monk” when I was a kid and it was one of the few shows I was allowed to watch with them,so trying to take that actor as a serial killer as an adult was always amusing

Still absolutely loving this speaker, it’s changed the amp from one I keep in its road case most of the year and only bust out for gigs like this and the occasional pickup jams with friends to an amp I actively want to play all the time. Just a total improvement on everything. Particularly enjoying it with the Timmy and OCD models on the stomp. Need to plug my analog dirts into it soon

I hesitated on the idea of a speaker change for a while because I thought maybe the Jensen was original to the amp but based on the serial number it’s a ‘99 so that’s listed for sale lol

Also a good example of honeymoon effect… when I first got it I was just totally enamored with the tones but I even grew to dislike how cleans sounded. Just so much honk with the jensen.

Wait until you try Creambacks with other amps.

Not to hijack, but what works about the redback for you? I have one I bought like 2 years ago sitting in the box still. I keep meaning to swap it into my oversized 1x12 cab.

Ya know, now that I grabbed that thiele I’m starting to think it’s a bit silly to sell my Madison 2x12 and buy a Mesa 2x12 with the idea that I’d likely be changing at least one speaker….

Might just grab a couple more creambacks (thinking the 75 waters for that)and put ‘em in there and call it good. Worst case scenario I have creambacks that I may have wanted anyway :idk

Honestly might have an easier time selling the T75s in there on their own anyway lol

Not feelin so young with 32 coming up in a couple weeks :columbo

Ha I’m familiar with mash, definitely before my time :ROFLMAO:
Holy shit, I thought I was the youngest non-teenager here. My parents (and I) watched Monk, too.

The M65 Creamback was my answer to speakers for modelers. The one I have has been transplanted twice now, first into a Fender combo of which I hated the OG speaker.

I also agree with you on the Deluxe + Jensen speakers. No thanks. My bassist has a DRRI that I can get a passible clean tone out of, but any dirt pedals need the Tone knobs at 9:00. I brought in my Creamback-loaded Katana and found my mids.
