New PRS Core and Bolt on (and now S2!) Models for 2025

every time i play a prs i enjoy it. i dont like looking at them, and a big part of it is the birds.

why wont they just make bone stock looking plain guitars that us guys who dont want humidor and furniture grade builds would rock? i want boring ass prs with grain filled mahogany in shit brown with dots, 2 p90s, and a wraparound bridge.

Probably because people have been buying the shit out of their guitars for forty years now, and the fancy wood is part of their appeal.

oh, man i know. hell, the ses are great - and people love the fanky. id really love to see an 'amish' run, cause i think itd do great for lots of people, like myself just not into the bling. id say MOST guitars end up looking too much like chromed out new ford pickups nowadays when id much prefer a plain '72 farm truck.

i dig that! theres one similar at the local gc, but its a gloss black solidbody!

Yeah the gloss black isn’t the same vibe at all. The satin charcoal looks like a piece of driftwood that was carved into a guitar. It’s why I like it haha.

i also dig the wacky barrels on it. i agree- i love the satin black mahogany- way cool.

the satin ones ive seen were okay, but they had really bright colored solidbodies. some were okay but i think they had birds too. ultimately, aint no guitar manufacturer cares what i think, but i gotta imagine im hardly the only one who feels this way
but maybe i am.

there were satin singlecut's back in the 2000's that had p90's, but i can't remember whether they were stoptails or not
