well, it looks STUNNING. All bout dat coffin badge and oxblood. and 10/10 knobs. Be curious to measure the voltages vs a JTM45. Looks like no Tube Rectifier?

Looks nice! But man, the intro music's so underwhelming for a release like this. At least make sure it's in tune and in time...? The dude's not here, is he?

I feel like this happens more often than it should from big companies like this. Like no one at Marshall thought "hang on" at it? Is this a recent development with everyone being able to record? Or is our expectation just greater now with all the quality youtubers?

These amps sound great, are -definitely- more manageable then their full sized counterparts, and I have nothing but respect for lunchbox amps that use real tubes and not EL84 turds

Love the look of this one!

I had an hand made JTM45 clone for a while and was an awesome amp. Superb clean and edge of brake up tones.

Anyway the studio series is a great idea in my opinion. These amps sound great and are really portable.
They are the perfect size for most gigs.

What I don't understand is why marshall added a FX loop but not a master volume on this one and the SV20.

They should have hired this dude, he got some killer tones out of it with the Les Paul. Best raw tones I’ve heard of it yet.

I absolutely would have bought this* if I hadn't discovered modeling amps. It's the eternal promise of overdriven amp tones at reasonable volumes in a relatively portable package.
