New Gretsch Day Incoming

So, I love my Gretsch 5622. It’s pretty much the only guitar I’ve been playing live lately. A while back I saw a 140th Anniversary edition of the 5622T that recently was released. Price on them has gone up quite bit since then. Saw one online and the seller sent me a really good offer price. Even negotiated a bit more and got it for a bit less. Should be here in a few days. 5622t-140. Pretty stoked about it! Some pics from the seller.

Congrats! I’ve loved the two-tone finishes on Gretsch’s ever since I first saw one of those green Anniversary models.

Is this one of the ones with a center block? What are the pickups?

Yes, it’s a center block model. Broadtron pickups. Love them.

I found this thread as the only result for a search on 5622. Nice score! I have three of the original model 5622Ts (3 pickups, cat eye holes), one each in rosa red, Georgia green, and black. I love those guitars, and I love the Dual Coil Super HiLo'Tron pickups in them. I have them set up with different strings and different switching from one another, probably to justify having three.
