What I learned about Two Rock’s over the decades is this:
TR’s are sophisticated amps and in the hands of a sophisticated..are f’n magical.
Seriously.
If you can turn the volume in TR’s up to
their sweet spots, - add in those toggle
switches NOW!
Fire in the hole my man!!
A majority of the player’s that have owned and sold their TR’s, including myself,
never get comfortable enough to find these magical f’n tones man.
You can get great humbucker sounds & feels outta’
TR’s also.
Again, you really have to learn the amp, apply herds of guitar skill at it relentlessly
dial them in that volume sweet spot,
flip a switch or two for tone confirmation
and off you go!!
Tone confirmation!!
Btw, the Ace Mix. ( 2 Golds X 2 Greenbacks )
are butter’s for miles with Two Rock’s.
I never got on 65’s with TR’s for some reason
I much preferred the Austin Speaker Works
KT-70’s with my TR’s.
I actually ordered my TR 2X12 with KT-70’s
through Lance Keltner when he was a
TR dealer over a decade ago.
Groovy dude with a thick Austin accent.
That cabinet was a certified Cremepuff
Congrats again I’m jelly bro..tbh.
