My gosh, that site looks like a nightmare.

What I don't like about Behringer is how much they copy also the visual look, yet still manage to make it look like a cheaper version of the real thing. I think that 69 Vibe is a lot more forgivable because it's at least a totally different form factor.

Clones of especially the Klon are dime a dozen, so it's hard to blame Behringer here for jumping on the bandwagon. I'd still rather buy a Tumnus because it's much smaller.

If you’re doing well and can, buy stuff that isn’t a cheap clone.

If you’re 14 and mowing lawns to put together a basic rig, buy a $30 pedal that sounds good and go have fun.

There’s room for both. I’m thankfully at a place now where I can just buy what I want. There have been times where I had to spend as little as possible. I don’t begrudge someone that doesn’t have a lot of money but enjoys cool sounds or needs something specific for a gig and needs a cheap clone.

I'm old enough to be aware that my wife and children don't need 297 pieces of gear shit to liquidate for pennies on the penny when I'm gone. So they'll end up with a few "luthier specials" I gig they can toss in the chipper and a good pile of modelers and amps to flip if they so choose.
