It a weird design , why not just put the 4 encoders under the screenThe full SW vid is on Reddit. Looks like capturing is on device. Rotary encoders. You can access all 8 scenes, you do a combo FS press to get to the second bank of scenes. Two full lanes. Seems like the full OS and compatibility.

I liked your design (?) a lot better. It a weird design , why not just put the 4 encoders under the screen
I guess with the recent updates to Airstep you could just integrate that , this is basically FM0
Does it work with cortex control ?

Makes it footswitchable if needed and encoders less cramped. It a weird design , why not just put the 4 encoders under the screen

I am not sure this was their best option but it is what they didYeah no clue why they didn’t just align them under the screen.
Mitch mentioned using the editor.

It's a somewhat similar design to the ASM Hydrasynth Explorer:

I can say that "4 encoders around a small screen" system works very well. But I would need to see the QC Mini to say if they have redesigned aspects of it to support that or not.
That’s where I worry like the actual amp stack and switches that might be a PITA considering the NDSP screen is not known to be as responsive as something like stadiumYeah will come down to how intuitively the encoders map to onscreen elements.
If that’s true and it’s around $1500 US then I really don’t get the appeal at only $200 less for the same brains and less on board tweakingThat’s where I worry like the actual amp stack and switches that might be a PITA considering the NDSP screen is not known to be as responsive as something like stadium
Someone said $1300 euro including VAT was showing on Italian dealer page
And a longer video (credit goes to someone else, not me:

You don’t have to use them. I don’t play out so it sits on my desk within reach to tweak, but I feel you. One gig of stomping on it and I’d stop using the rotary encodersI know I'm a bit of a germphobe, the quad having footswitches working as knobs just make me think I'm playing out stepping on bathrooms then go play the gig and trying to tweak something. Now also stepping over the touchscreen?
