On a more positive note, NDSP just wrote to say my QC was repaired and on its way back to me. Woot!

They need to give you something extra because you’ve pretty much single-handedly kept me from going further down the anti-NDSP route I’d be going down if left to my own devices.

That's pretty cool, actually. :) I have to imagine they're all gone by now.

I'm just happy they're not splitting hairs over warranty. Seems fair that if you have at least one QC under warranty, you're buying enough of them that they should all be covered.

Watching Rob Arnold get around on the QC he just borrowed in his YT vid and it is pretty clunky looking for something with a touchscreen. Lots of missed or multiple hits and looking not as elegant as I expected. Sounds are sizzly but good generally.

He ran it through the power amp section of his 5150. Perhaps that‘s why it sounded a little bit too scooped and „sizzly“. He basically doubled the power amp coloration. It probably would have sounded better with his Duncan Powerstage.

The touchscreen, though… yeah, it‘s not the most responsive. But in the short time I actually owned a QC myself, I didn‘t have any problems with the screen.

It's not that bad - i found the QC's touchscreen to be perfectly usable. But yeah, if you expect fast swipes like one does on a cellphone, you'll be dissapointed.

I myself would never use a TS, my FM9 is a floor unit why would I want to bend down all the time to make any kind of adjustments?

You don’t need to. No more than you need to touch the buttons or knobs on your FM9.

It's not that bad - i found the QC's touchscreen to be perfectly usable. But yeah, if you expect fast swipes like one does on a cellphone, you'll be dissapointed.

Yeah its like if you pay attention and make solid swipes lol - you’re good. Just can’t be swiping away like a madman and expect it to keep up

The touchscreen on the QC is fine. It actually works quite well imo
