Man, that’d be pretty funny being that both those dudes only begrudgingly have QC’s in their rigs and still have a bit of “I need to make it clear I love tube amps so no one thinks I like modelers now” tinge to their words when they’ve spoken about them.

I was watching a cKy rig rundown the other day and the British presenter dude was all excited about seeing the QC on Chad’s board, Chad was also excited about it, but started off with “My bass player hooked me up with NDSP and they sent me one of these….” and I’m very curious how many QC’s in touring rigs have been placed there as a result of getting one for free, rather than the musician going out of their way to get and utilize one.

I’d hate NDSP a lot less if they’d sell their damn video equipment and take their marketing budget and bulk up on staff that can actually update the shit they sell. Never once in 32 years has a gear company made me feel like I do towards NDSP.

I’d just like them a lot more if you heard from them more than their “soon” BS that happens twice a year and lately gives nothing that I’d actually be excited about.

Like if they committed to their PCOM integration and I saw actual progress I wouldn’t have sold my QC, I’d still waiting on Mesa IIC+ to get the QC treatment while they release shit nobody asked for (another prog metal archetype that gives you maybe one new cool tool)

My biggest gripe when I had the QC was the touchscreen responsiveness not being that great. Sometimes I’d have to swipe 2-3 times to get a sub menu to pop up.

NDSP just dropped all 1300+ captures from the QC to the cloud so Nano users can use them.

If you look at these captures they tell you the settings of the device. Just in case there's any default captures you ever wondered about.

I do like 80s movies humour. That's why I specifically said European vacation, to evoke that movie, and not European holiday, which would be more normal for a Hiberno-English speaker.
