Sure. I think that’s ultimately the fault of the user though, if they continue to throw money at this stuff then they’ll get delivered more of it. Ultimately the overall experience is what counts and if it delivers with ease people will be happy. Clearly many users don’t want to use Helix/Metallurgy/Amplitube etc and prefer how NDSP package things up.
As I said, if it is indeed a 5150, I hope it’s a 5150II/6505+ as NDSP haven’t done one of those yet (in a plugin at least). For that amp I’m only really aware of Fractal and Audio Assault, which carry their own downsides if you’re predominantly a plugin user

I like their non-archetypes better tbh. I use Mesa and Nameless, and it would be cool if they continued to chug out just an amp without gimmicks.
Actually, it's 98 percent on QC already because this is just Archetype: Nolly X with all-new presets and novelty effects.

I've noticed that the same types of companies that are fine licensing Synergy modules of their full-size amps seem open to "official" digital representation (e.g. Mesa Mark IIC, Soldano, etc.). Maybe a Diezel or ENGL suite could happen down the road?

I say why not, it’s easy money for the amp makers. These digital companies can model their stuff without their involvement anyway, so why not officially partner and take a cut of revenue? Kind of win-win, unless you have near-term digital plans of your own.

I'd totally throw money down for a Diezel or ENGL suite, or a branded Marshall something or other (they did it with Softube, why not?) It gives it a little weight when the company behind the amp endorses it (even though we all know it's to get money at the end of the day, their reputation is sort of on the line at that point)

This may be old news or an old opinion, but if I had to guess they
(a) dont give any sort of a f*ck about X plugins as there is f*clkall money in them
or
(b) nothing is actually being ported - they are brand new fresh being [re] written ground up to run on the QC
or
(c) probably both

It used to give it weight for me, but I've had too many "official" Amplitube packs that were underwhelming at best. Large reason why I gave up on that product (IK Multimedia's business practices was the other).

Yknow, I literally just very quickly fired up Nolly, Nameless, Mark II Suite, and just played through the default presets with a few tweaks to gain and treble and what not. All terrible and uninspiring in this moment.
I then fired up my Axe III and did this:

So another plugin that will doubtlessly sound like %75 of their other pre-existing Plugins.

Its almost like NDSP actually and really don't give a flying f*ck about the QC and its owners anymore.
Once Stadium it out, imagine the shit-storm if they announced a QC MK 2

I generally feel like it’s the opposite for me, with the caveat that I don’t think I’ve ever used a preset from NDSP or Fractal.
I can get a sick tone happening WAY faster and with a lot less bullshit way quicker in NDSP plugins than Fractal. And if I’m just loading up presets I’ve made earlier, then give me decent looking slick plugins every day of the week. I probably find NDSP plugins easier to get a great tone dialled in quickly over any other platform.
I basically always swap the IR’s out too, but that goes for Fractal as well (and is too important to just always use stock cabs IMO).
