My experience when I owned the FM3, QC and Helix Floor when the QC released was that vs Fractal it was no contest. Versus Helix it was hit and miss - sometimes just as good, sometimes worse, but QC rarely coming out as better.
I really, really wanted it to succeed. I don't mean in terms of sales, but as just becoming a straight up great modeler. There's a lot to like, but for me, it just never quite got there and I'm not confident in Neural DSP's ability to execute at this point.
If NDSP had put out something closer to the Hotone A2 Stomp - less capable, but more compact maybe in the 700-800 € range, I would've likely bought it because at that price point it's easier to forgive flaws than at the 1600 € price point. The Nano Cortex is so far from what I'd want.
