Man, I return to my previous sentiment that it needs some Greenbacks/Creambacks. Something .... anything....
other than V30s. Ok. "It" doesn't. But I do. :lol Kind of has me inspired to rework some cab and speaker
configurations here at Casa Loco Moco and have a chance to explore the amp more. V30s are just so dominant,
and I feel like they make whatever amp they are used with the submissive one in the relationship. :idk

I'm scared to even try V30s again. Been a long while since I've had anything loaded with them, but in my recent IR tinkerings I really can't stand any of the V30 IRs I've tried even though everyone else makes them sound great :idk

There are V30s in the Trem-O-Verb. I have a few others around here and still try
them in various cabs from time to time to see if my ears have changed.

This is a silly question from me, but how do the hi-lo master knobs react with other eq knobs here?

Yummy amp. Have seen Mesas often with slider-based EQs (not parametric knobs).

Didn't know you had a Goldfinger. Original or Superlead model?

The GF 45 SL was my favorite until I decided to go with the BluGuitar that did a lot of the same tones.
 
I’d love to sit down with one of these amps. I’ve been circling the little brother TA30 for a couple years now but the EL84s scare me off.

Mesa kicks ass.

Really? Cool. One of the best amps I have ever owned. :chef

Not sure it would be this is "My Signature Sound" Amp, but for an Amp that can cover
more bases than most others, and do it well, it slays. Have used it in everything from
Jam Band, Reggae, Blues, Classic Rock, and as a pedal platform with the Vox side
and the Blackface/Tweed side. Crazy good amp. No reason it should not have been
more popular, given the trend of versatile lunchbox amps. :idk

Also, kind of didn't jive with the 15. The 30 has the headroom and can get to 40watts Class A/B,
has an added gain stage (massive on the Marshall and Mesa Modes!), and an FX Loop.

Seen them as low as $500-$700 recently in head format, which is dumb. :idk

Had it about 6 years now.

Hi.... @ Masters on the Overdriven side of the Amp allow you to footswitch between a Lo-Gain option
for Rhythm, and then up the Gain for Leads using the Hi-Gain Master? Or I can just set them for differing
gain levels to serve the songs being played properly. Hi is a little too high for me at times. Lo with the Gain
up is still breathing plenty of fire. :LOL:

Yeah I can understand why they got rid of the pre-fx loop for the SL and put in a more adjustable boost instead.

The pre-fx loop is a cool idea - switch any boost or whatever you might want from the amp's fooswitch so you could leave your pedals connected with short cables sitting on top of the cab or near the amp, and put the footswitch at the front of the stage. I think many just found it unfamiliar.
