It's light, it's loud, and it's under $200.

My birthday is around the corner, and since I've been storing up funds, I thought I'd treat myself to a few things including this TC Electronic BAM200 - my son throught I had bought a new interface. Bought it to use as clean power for modelers into my Peavey 212-6 cab w/ Greenbacks.

I haven't had a whole lot of time to faff with it tonight but it gets very loud attached to the cab and sounds great. This cab is also wired for stereo so I could run the preamp of my MT15 into it to make a tightly-spaced stereo rig. Plus if I ever felt like getting a bass cab, I'd have a complete bass rig.

Not sure what youre looking at? There's a gig flier right behind the Strat but my daughter loves to draw fold-in pictures and I have a few of those scattered about too, but not in this picture. Did you chemically widen your perspective last night? Seeing things beyond the picture? Pretty scary because you just might see all the other mess scattered about

Never heard. AIC vibes. Not a bad sound to chase, but I honestly didn't buy the MT15 because of my indifference to Creed. I only really know them from that once commercial and drunk Scott Stapp's porn career.

I have a BAM 200 as well. Great little SS amp I use as a backup and to amplify my FM9.

A word of caution; they have a reputation for overheating. Someone recommended making a mod that cleared the path to the fan. I haven't opened mine yet to see if it's clear what they're talking about. There's a lot of info about them at The Other Place.
