My first impression of HX Stomp

The HX stuff is especially notorious in this regard because of people's need to create "mix ready" presets :poop:

If you ain't clamping that shit down at both ends, there's no way you're ever going to cut, my dude....

...I feel like I just mixed some metaphors somehow...
Yeah but if you’re clamped down too hard, you’re gonna need to push, and then you run the risk of blowing a ring.

I think i like the Line 6 Ventoux better than any of the Fender models for a clean. I’m going to dig into the Line 6 originals a little deeper.

I tried the Stomp for a month a few years ago. Made the mistake of comparing the fx against my pedalboard fx. The Stomp lost. Returned it. Not for me.

Ok. I’m at 11 months with HX Stomp. Tonex is less fun now. Now that I’m digging into more models, HX Stomp has pulled ahead. One big reason is working with an FRFR the HX can put out line level and Tonex can’t.

The HX is just a more complete unit all around.
