Marshall Pedals (Anderton's)

Even if you run a proper Marshall head into these kinds of amps, they’ll sound like shit and nothing like a Marshall because the “Marshall” sound is as much down to Celestions and (typically) a 4x12.

Trying to make a small Fender combo sound like a Marshall is going to have very limited results, I don’t really see the point.

Unless you put EVH-GB’s in your Fender amps and use the gear (4x12’s included) at home. I’d bet it would sound pretty dang good. My MIAB’s certainly do.

I snagged the JCM800. I had to. Curiousity and cats and all that jazz.

Anywho, they are VERY stout. It must weigh like 3 lbs ands you could
probably blunt force trauma an intruder to death. If you had to.

The tones are far less crushing.

It's that harsh/transistory vibe that so many AIAB and Distortion Pedals
seem to have. Great in a RAT or a Fuzz.... but not so much in a wanna be
JCM800 pedal.

So back to my Bogner Blue I go.
