Loop creation platform

Hey everyone,

Is there a website where I could post small loops of me with my guitar so others can add their instruments, and we can create music together. Does anyone know a website where I can do that? Ideally, one where I can plug in my guitar directly too? Because I have no one I can jam with... or create music. My friends and family are not very musical:brick

Thanks Lumina:)

I am not sure about the use case you are asking about. You are essentially wanting something where you can have everyone access a file to play along with and add to as well as live access to jam. I don't think there is anything like that out there.

I looked into the online jamming options a couple of times over the past few years. There are a few out there but the overall reaction to them is that internet latency makes them almost not usable. All of our connections speed up and slow down throughout the day depending on how heavy the traffic is on the lines. It is enough that it affects the video and audio streaming. What kind of baffled me is that I spend the bulk of my day on video calls for work and I never have issues with them. But, I saw enough complaints about it to believe it is definitely an issue.

I already checked out Kompoz, but tbh it’s way too complicated and frustrating. I was thinking of something more like TikTok duets, you know? The thing with TikTok duets, though, is that they’re not really made for musicians or for actually creating music together. I'll let you know when I'll find something cool:))

Yes, I’ve heard the exact same thing. That’s why I think asynchronous jamming is the way to go. But so far, I haven’t been able to find anything:(( but I'll keep you up to date

It is. I thought you wanted to post loops so others collaborate? You can do all of that and more, you'd just need to create an account and learn a bit about internal DAW they use. I'm sure there are plenty tutorials on the process.
I actually used Bandlab for a bit, but I didn’t find the community that great. I might give it another try though :)
